We could not wish better for this first edition of the new star offered at Jumping Equiseine, the first CSI four stars in Normandy. PATRICE DELAVEAU with Leontine Ledimar wins the Grand Prix 160 m with a breath-taking jump off in 37.32 seconds. The cours was difficult with a very imposing double combination and the wide oxers asking the horses for big efforts.
Next to the vice-world champion we could applaud our other Normand champions. JULIEN EPAILLARD with La Roque’s Toupie, as usual, tightened the curves and imposed a tempo taking the lead until the passage of Patrice. At the end a nice second place with a chrono I 37.67seconds and the joy shared with the winner.
LAURENT GOFFINET with his faithful Quinette du Quesnoy ranks third in 38 seconds. The Normand has been in good shape this weekend, classified several times for the greatest happiness of Haras de Lacke.
ADELINE HECART with Pasha du Gué is fourth, the son of Dollar de la Pierre still keeps a beautiful freshness and want to please her rider …
MARGAUX BOST in couple with As de Papignies, powerful and voluntary takes the fifth place.
MALIN BARYARD-JOHNSSON who was the first to sign a clear round and open the way to the jump off, a very elegant ride without taking risks with her 9 years old young mare H & M Indiana, took the 6th place in the end.
TITOUAN SCHUMACHER with Atome Z is 7th with the fastest jump off but with one pole down and REYNALD ANGOT with Symphonie des Biches, his best mare, is 8th.
At the end a beautiful CSI, with shows and animations and a lot of audience. It may be necessary to raise awareness in the future to respect the effort and concentration of horses and riders, but it is by repeating the exercises which we learn/ repeating the same mistakes that we learn ….
